Guest Speaker: NIGEL MARIS, Managing Director Assembled Electronic Solutions Ltd / EveryWare Ltd
Nigel will be talking about how to take medical/healthcare products to market, drawing on his vast experience of developing products and commercialising them.
Nigel is a proven Chief Executive who has a wealth of experience across multiple sectors. He specialises in kick-starting businesses and divisions through strategic planning, board level recruitment and implementation to deliver their planned business goals.
After prolific success across the heavy industry, oil and gas, defence and construction sectorsamongst others, qualified Production Engineer Nigel was headhunted to front turnaround and strategic projects. He then headed up a business in the medical sector, working with elite athletes and using technologies that monitor co-ordination and motor skills.
Assembled Electronic solutions Ltd in Stratford-upon- Avon was set up by Nigel, a designer and manufacturer of electronic equipment, in 2009 to address the challenges he has personally faced in finding quality, purpose-specific electronics products.
In 2015 the founded EveryWare Ltd, a specialist IoT (Internet of Things) software company, delivering remote monitoring and tracking solutions.
Nigel is in his 21st year as a non-executive director at the University of Warwick Science Park and likes to keep abreast of emerging technologies.
