‘Developing Women Leaders’ is an insightful and inspiring event, run by Sally Dhillon, (co-founder of Career-Mums Partnership).
There is a shortage of woman leaders across the region, with significant under-representation of women in senior positions across all sectors, despite government initiatives for companies to have at least 1/3rd of their board positions filled with women within the next 3 years. Taking this into account, themes explored in this event will include:-
How do we develop more women leaders?
What are the barriers to more women stepping forward and how do we address them?
How do we develop more women leaders and engage them more effectively in the local economy?
This event is ideally suited to anyone who wants to play a role in the economic growth of the region and has a role in developing leaders and/or developing your own leadership skills.
