ABOUT ABOUT

Your work colleagues may be a diverse range of people, from bright young graduates to older, more experienced employees who are keen to pass on their work-skills and values. Stereo-typically, there may be a need to ‘bridge the gap’ between those who are digitally-savvy having grown-up in a technological-era and those who are comfortable using a degree of technology but are a little weary of the latest gadget being thrown their way at seemingly every opportunity.

Importantly other issues of work chemistry will be touched upon such as work values and both the “nowadays we do it this way” and “in my day” cultures!

Issues that can cause discourse include:

  • Sense of humour
  • Small tasks around the workplace (who makes the tea and cleans up
  • afterwards)
  • Different wish-lists of provision (nice chairs and parking spaces)

This session provides strategies to restore or improve balance within the workforce, complementing existing skills and working on new ones to create digital and human solutions specific to your workplace, agreeable to all.

This is an issue across all business but, we think, is especially pertinent to the digital industry.
