As we eagerly we await the result of Coventry’s exciting bid to become the UK City of Culture 2021, we are offering you a fascinating familiarisation into the history and heritage of our great city.
Whether you work in one of our local attractions, hotels or tourist information centres, this morning event will help you to confidently sell Coventry, it's history and heritage and all the wonderful things to do in the area to the regions incoming leisure and business visitors.
The familiarisation visit will start with a light breakfast before we embark on a blue badge tour of Coventry City Centre. We will follow with visits to some of our museums and a light lunch over a summary of the day and the opportunity for questions and to network with fellow industry peers.
Maybe you are selling your venue for conferences, work as part of a reception team or as part of a concierge desk and are not familiar with the area, or perhaps you just need a little reminder. Come along and leave feeling inspired having learnt a fact or two about our city, which you can then pass on to visitors to ensure they also get a great impression of our great city.
