This lively panel discussion, hosted by gaming industry experts, will be followed by a virtual reality showcase from local companies where you will get to experience some of the latest developments in VR.

The debate will explore how VR is used currently and will discuss and predict possible future uses of VR, AR and mixed reality. Come along to hear and contribute to the debate on whether VR is the future for gaming or whether it is just a fad.

The VR showcase will feature a wide range local companies and their work, including ViewPoint Games who will be showcasing their recently released game, VR Karts – the first of its kind, VR Karts is an immersive 360 degree experience of a karting game – come and give it a try first hand.

Suitable for experienced games developers as well as people with less experience or just a general interest in VR technology, those attending will gain a greater understanding of VR, it’s capabilities and how it can be used to greater affect.
